  • Family Liaison Officer

    On Wednesday 19th April 2017, Mrs Jackie Shephard will be joining us as our Family Liaison Officer (FLO).

     

    Jackie is an experienced FLO from Goat Lees Primary School and she will be holding informal drop in sessions between 8.00am and 9.00am for parents every Wednesday. She will also be starting nurture groups for our children and parent workshops on varying topics.

    A FLO can help with a wide variety of issues, or knows who to contact, to help with issues such as children not sleeping, bed wetting, healthy eating, bereavement, family problems etc to name a few.

    Please come along and meet Jackie and find out if there is anything she may be able to help you with either now, or in the future.

  • Fix-It Day

    Our Fix-It Day on Saturday 18th March was a huge success due to all the parents who came along to help with all the jobs around the School.

     

    A huge thank you to all the parents below who came along to help with the jobs around the School on Saturday.  We managed to clear the pond, tidy and mend the Eco Area, paint the Play Therapy Shed and Eco Area Shed, plant trees around the Fire Pit Area on the back field and build two bug hotels.

    Mrs Burke, Mr Dearden, Mr Dryden, Mr Kapps, Mr King, Harry King, Mr McRoberts, Mr Winter & Mr & Mrs Sinclair-Portarge. Also a big thank you to all the parents who stayed at home to look after children to allow these parents to come and support us.

    Our next Fix-It Day will take place on Saturday 20th May 2017 from 9.00am to 1.00pm.  If you are free on this day, please come along and help us with further improvements around the School. Thank you.

  • Book Week Competition

    Well done to our Book Week Competition Winners!

     

    A special well done to Marco, Matilda, Ella P, Genevieve and Kaitlyn for their amazing models and creative writing which won them the Book Week Competition for their classes. A huge thank you to all the children who spent their own time creating some fantastic entries which made judging the competition extremely hard!

    We also held a dress up day on Friday where the whole school dressed as their favourite book character.  The winners for each class were as follows:-
