  Lots of beautifully dressed people ready for our Jubilee tea party in assembly today. They were there to witness lots of celebrating of great work and manners.

  Kingfishers won both the TT Rockstars and SpellingShed battles this week.

• Ashford Netball Tournament

  Sat 14 May 2022

  Smeeth sent two teams to the Ashford Small Schools Netball Tournament with great results.

  The Apples team consisted of some players representing the school for the first time, and they came an impressive 5th. They held their nerve to win their playoff match 2-0 against Brook, after gaining an excellent draw against Chilean which enabled our Bananas team to reach the final. Their goals in the tournament were scored by Esme, Lily Bu., Oliver and Daniel.

  The Bananas team performed brilliantly all morning, winning eight of their league matches and reaching the playoff final where they took the lead against the only undefeated team in the tournament. Unfortunately, in a closely fought match they finished second. Their goals in the tournament were scored by: Sasha, Lily Ba., Milo, Isla, Arthur, Adam and Ellie - the entire squad scoring during the tournament.

  Lots of Times Tables Certificates today, which is great.

  The House Point battle for second place is heating up.

  Eagles won the SpellingShed battle, whilst Kingfishers won TT Rockstars.

  

• Young Voices 2022

  Our children had the best time at the Young Voices Concert yesterday. They sang, they danced and they smiled. What a fantastic trip we had and a big thank you to our choir parents for coming to support us. We loved seeing your sign in the sea of spectators.
