Smeeth Community Primary School

Our School

At Smeeth Community Primary School we aim to provide an educational environment where children can be safe, happy and stimulated. We offer a curriculum, which will foster the intellectual, personal, social and physical development of each child.

Smeeth Community Primary School serves the village of Smeeth and the neighbouring area of Brabourne Lees.   Smeeth is one of several villages to the east of Ashford not far from the North Downs.

The School is fortunate in its site; there is an attractive playing field, split into two levels by a bank with an outdoor classroom and trim trail on the top level, and a playground with an all weather grassed area with play equipment to one side of it. From the top of the playing field are views to the North Downs and from the upper school campus are views across Hatch Park. There is an excellent school hall, a canteen and a junior library. The schoolhouse is now part of the School’s working area and contains the Head Teacher’s office, the Secretary’s office, reception, and an upstairs storage area and staff PPA room. There are five classrooms, two in the recently rebuilt and refurbished Victorian building and three in the building that includes the hall.
