The new Robins have made a wonderful start to their Forest School Journey! We had a couple of weeks of lovely sunshine followed by this weeks rain, where the children embraced the puddles, catching drips off of the trees and pots filled with water. Some children as you know love mud, some more than others, apologies to the 'muddy puddle suits' coming home! 

The children in the mud kitchen cooked up so many delicious foods from soup to chocolate brownies, these were all served to us whilst some children and myself were dragging long branches to build a new den. Other children have spent their time climbing up onto the 'platform' which to be fair is quite high, yet many were determined to get up and once they succeeded could encourage and pass on their wisdom to their friends.

The rope swings are always popular as are the swinging and spinning hammock, this area benefits the children in so many ways, physically, whilst they hold on and spin or swing as high as they dare along with socially where they can practice their turn taking.
