Uniform
School Uniform
Uniform is worn at Smeeth Community Primary School to allow each child to develop a sense of belonging and pride in being a member of our school.
Our school uniform consists of:
Blue Cardigan or Jumper with the Smeeth School Logo (which can be purchased from the school office)
White Polo Shirt
Grey trousers, shorts, skirt or pinafore or blue and white gingham dress
Grey or white socks or tights
Black school shoes
Please ensure that your child wears sensible black footwear to school, no sandals. Platform or shoes with heels greater than 2cm should not be worn to school. Boots are great to wear in the winter but to change into school shoes once in the school building.
P.E. Kit
- Navy blue or black shorts
- Navy blue or black tracksuit for the winter months
- White t-shirt (not polo shirt)
- Black plimsolls (indoor PE) or trainers (outdoor PE)
All contents to be placed inside a P.E. bag to be kept at school for the term. Children should not bring any other valuables such as jewellery to school. Only stud earrings and a watch are allowed and all jewellery should be taken out before P.E. All hair longer than shoulder length should be tied back.
It is possible to buy sweatshirts, cardigans with the school logo, water bottles, P.E. and book bags from the school office.
All clothing should be labelled. There is a lost property box that should be checked as soon as an item of clothing is missing which is located in the reception area of the School house.
School Uniform - Ordering
Items bearing the Smeeth CP Logo can be purchased on-line via: https://www.schooltrends.co.uk/uniform/SmeethCommunityPrimarySchoolTN256RX

Pre-Loved Uniform
As part of our ongoing commitment to being environmentally responsible (and mindful of parents' budgets!), we encourage families to donate any good-condition uniform items they no longer need. These are made available at the school office to others for a small, suggested donation. (We recommend popping in at the change of seasons, or end of terms, just to check out what we have in stock, before you order brand new!)
