  We are so very pleased to be able to share with you that Ofsted have rated us as 'Good' with 'Outstanding' Early Years Provision and Behaviour and Attitudes. You can read the full report here. 

• Celebration Assembly

  We had a great end of the year Celebration Assembly, with our Stars and Spellers of the week, times tables certificates and 100% Attendance Pupil rewards.

  We found out that Armstrong House had won the year’s House Point trophy and Robins won the year’s Attendance Award.

  We sadly said goodbye to Mr Peall, and wish him all the best for the future. Goodbye and good luck to all the children who are moving onto new schools this summer too.

  

• Leavers Assembly

  We said a sad farewell to the Year 6s today, but remembered lots of great memories and moments along the way. You have been a fantastic year group, and the adults and pupils at Smeeth will miss you.

• Celebration Assembly

  We had lots of celebrations today, including the Year 6 Rounders win, Chloe’s horse riding, Stars and Spellers of the week, Well Done vouchers and times table certificates.

  The second half of the year’s House Points and Attendance winners were announced with Armstrong House and Robins earning extra playtime on Monday. Well done.

  

• Y6 Rounders v Parents

  Thank you very much parents for a great turn out in what was a very entertaining and close match in our annual rounders battle. There were some big kicks (mainly the parents), big backhanded hits (mainly Year 6 and Elliott), and several dropped catches (mainly Mr Peall). However, for the first time in five years the winners were the YEAR 6 PUPILS!

  Another successful week in Smeeth.

  We had visitors doing a show today, so we held assembly in our classes. However, Robins won the Attendance Award and Attenborough the House Points Trophy.

  An assembly full of celebrations today, with lots of Times Table certificates to go along with the Stars and Super Spellers.

  The children looked great in their International Week costumes or flag colours.

  Armstrong won the House Points Trophy matching Morpurgo’s amazing 18 points from last week. Eagles were this week’s winning Attendance Award.

  

• Celebration Assembly

  Lots of achievements this week. Great Stars and Spellers, some lovely Well Done vouchers and a times table certificate.

  There was also a celebration of the Neatball Team and the Kent Challenger Games Group - they got certificates and medals, and all Mr Peall got was a t-shirt!
  Armstrong really stretched their House Point lead after winning Sports Day too, but Morpurgo were the team of the week after getting 18 more points out of a maximum of 20!
