Pemsey Farm Visit
Wed 18 Jul 2018Some of our children have been lucky enough to be chosen to visit Pemsey Farm on a Friday to help with the Inspiring Lives Community Service, from Ashford Gateway, who support adults with disabilities within the community. Supported by Allison Nyssens, owner of Pemsey Farm, we will be able to pick apples from the orchard, meet the friendly chickens and ponies and of course take the vegetables home when they are ready! This is a fantastic way to learn through the local community and we anticipate much fun and excitement!
We have been very busy at Pemsey Farm this week! A group of keen gardeners have been helping grow the community vegetable patch and making friends with the horses. Huge thanks to Allison and Sophie who have been so generous in having us.
Please see a few pictures from our first visit to Pemsey Farm below.

Tue 05 Dec 2017"the children are a credit to the school with their exemplary behaviour"
It was an amazing afternoon for our School Council and Eco Club who planted 5 trees which were donated by the Woodland Trust to celebrate the 60th Anniversary of Premier Foods. The Mayor attended this event and it was wonderful to see our school choir sing to our visitors too. The Mayor said in his email after the event "the children are a credit to the school with their exemplary behaviour."
Thank you to Mrs Quinn who made the Christmas table decorations with our Eco Club for our visitors.
