Common Exception Words!

Below are the common exception words for year 1 and 2. These are the tricky words that the children cannot segment but have to learn the spellings.

In DT this term we have been learning about different foods and the groups that they belong to. Today, we taste tested different items of salad in preparation for designing and making our own salads over the following weeks. We all very much enjoyed taste testing the different foods!

Forest School Adventures

World Book Day

In DT this term the children have been creating moving pictures! This week we have designed, created and evaluated our sliding pictures.

In Geography this term, our topic is about the UK. We have put on our detective hats and have been investigating the four countries that make up the UK. We have mapped the countries, identified key features and landmarks and have shared our findings with the rest of the class.

Crash Landing!!

Over the weekend something very exciting and mysterious has happened in Magpies! An alien spaceship has crash landed into the sandpit in the outside area! Magpies were all very eager to investigate the scene and have some theories as to what may have happened and how it happened.
